I am so excited for thanksgiving... Its going to be a full out thanksgiving party. And I am pumped.  The country doesn't celebrate thanksgiving, but we are having our little party with a bunch of people.  There's a few different holidays here.  I am excited for christmas. I guess it lasts like 4 days here. Im excited for that.  I am making a pie at least so I should be getting pie.  :) It won't be the same as at grandmas, but I am way excited.  ****..... He made this a hard week.  Like really hard..... I I spent a quite a bit of time wondering what to do about him.  Lots of time sitting in the chapel here thinking.  Its crazy the different feeling just inside the chapel. I've not really paid much attention to that before.  But it's awesome. Here's the really shortened version of what happened. Basically, he went to latvia two days after his confirmation , met a portuguese agent of satan, who showed him a bunch of anti material and got him to drink every day. Just a few days after his baptism.  He told us a little more everyday basically from monday to wednesday.  So each day it was like another kick in the stomach. Wednesday was the last I heard from him.  He told us "I want out of this crap ASAP".  It hasn't been fun.  We were really down about it.  BUt we decided that its all we can do.  We did all we could and he has his agency.  Hopefully he will remember everything he felt someday and he'll come back. I'll definitely still pray for him.  Hopefully I can get contact with him after my mission.  It was really a hard week. But we are feeling a lot better now. We have gotten mostly over it and decided all we can do is just keep going.  Once again this is a war with satan and he dealt a huge blow, Now we just have to fight back.  The Lord really has been blessing us this week. We found a couple people just randomly contacting people.  They are going to be awesome to teach. Ones actually from phoenix. But she's lived in norway since 2005. ha She's excited to come to the thanksgiving party this week.  SO this week is going to be awesome.  We have a lot of potential that could come up.  THanksgiving is going to be awesome.  Honestly I think ** just needs some time to come back. To remember how good it felt to be with us. I just worry what hes going to do with his life now.  I feel like Satan has a huge hold on bergen right now.  He is doing a lot to get people away from our church. The last 3 baptisms, Were all super positive and then were completely against anything to do with the church. ITs crazy.  I am seeing it be broken though with all these little miracles.  Its awesome.  GOd really is Watching over us!!  Im glad you could use my thoughts on mosiah 2. I loved it!! King benjamin is awesome.  This week I've been reading a lot about paul.  In acts.  Paul is awesome.  I love how he knows the danger of preaching, but he goes forward and does it anyway.  Like one time, He was coming back to jerusalem, and he was told several times by an angel that if he went he would be taken and bound. But he went anyway. He said He wants to go because he would love to lay down his life in the name of Jesus Christ.  He knows how important it is to share the word of christ!! ANd because of this the Lord protected him. Even when a venomous serpent bites him, It doesn't affect him at all.  It's amazing. The Lord is watching over this work.  I also finished the gospels this week.  Its awesome to learn about Christs life. Gets me to have even more of a testimony of him and what hes done for us.  But one of the biggest things I have learned this week, is about forgiveness.  Especially with **. There was a lot of different emotions that I went through with the whole situation.  But anger was a big one.  He wouldn't even talk to us except in text or a random note in a bag left on the door of the church. But a lot of what he said just kind of betrayed our friendship as well as the gospel. I was offended.  BUt I realized I wasn't so angry at him. I was angry at satan.  And Thats ok. We can hate satan all we want. I know he exists. And he wants our souls.  He knows what we are capable of and he doesn't want us to reach that.  So It wasn't too hard to forgive **. Cuz it's not him.  ITs just plain flat out satan.  I cant wait til he's bound!!! but anyway.  It's been a crazy week.  Lots of hard times, but a lot of amazing times as well.  ITs definitely a roller coaster. But I do have to say I am enjoying it a lot.  I hope this all made sense. I feel all over the place today. haha. But anyway to answer some of your questions.  kebobed. A kebob is a fast food here thats delicious.  When investigators dont show up, we call it kebobed. hah MOstly cuz we go eat kebobs when that happens sometimes. It happens too often to do it every time.  Everything is super expensive here, even the fast food.  Church was good. WE didn't have any investigators with us, but it was good. I am starting to be able to get what they're talking about too! ha SUndays are just fantastic.  I am glad you enjoy my letters!  Money would definitely be easiest on my card, I don't know where to exchange money here so I just use my card.  Tell the robinsons thank you! And thank you guys! Especially for your prayers! I can literally feel them! especially this last week.  Sounds like you guys are all doing great and I am glad to hear that.  THat sounds like a fun meeting, I cant wait to get that news letter.  That'll be cool.  THanks so much for everything!
