HEI HEI!!

HOw are you guys? It sounds like everything is going well.  I still haven't seen any snow..... Just a ton of rain. Lots and lots of rain. Good thing I am starting to love it now though.  Good thing you went to church! haha.  SOmetimes I feel like I don't want to go out because it is raining sideways. But we have to. Unfortunately people don't like to stop on the street when its pouring... BUt I am still doing great.  I am loving it still.  THats no fun when dad has to go out in the middle of the night though.  Doesn't sound too fun.  Daylight savings does happen here.  We had it a couple weeks ago, so that was great to get an extra hour of sleep. haha I enjoyed that a ton.  Studying is the best though.  I love my personal study everyday.  This morning I had a big study on faith. All from one verse. Ether 12:4. Its crazy.  One hour isnt enough. I will have to finish that one later. I feel like hope is overlooked a lot. But its pretty important. It says its the anchor for our souls. THe footnote for that one led to another scripture saying that its our anchor to the veil. So I think that through that, If we have hope, we are anchored to the spirit world and we are led to do better things.  We are led more to be steadfast and immovable and be abounding in good works if we just hold on to that anchor.  It is the anchor of our souls. Hope can be seen in patience is one thing I learned. That, if it is hard, we have to wait, "hoping for a better world" and we will be given it eventually.  Goes along pretty well with the trials bring great blessings, and you can't be a champion without trials. Hope just is awesome. I will probably do more study of that tomorrow.  Its crazy how the gospel is all just connected. Its amazing cuz it all makes sense.  I am definitely still doing great.  I am very happy.  The Lord is blessing our work so much.  We didn't have much time to go contacting the other day, so we did as much as we could but didn't get anything from it. We went to a lesson in the library, and as we were on the way in, a girl stopped us and told us she wanted to meet with us. We didn't know what to do. THat was the first time that has happened to either of us.  SHe just told us she wanted to find out more.  We said several prayers of thanks after that one. I  am learning it is extremely important to be grateful for everything the Lord gives us. We had another contacting session last week where we got 3 numbers from interested people including a guy who was a teacher of religion at a high school.  We exchanged numbers, and the next day he called us and told us his class was really interested in learning more and really wanted to know.  So we are going to teach them tomorrow.  I think it will be a lot better than the one we went to a couple weeks ago where it was just an atheist teacher who attacked us pretty much the whole time.. It wasn't so good then. It was a good testimony builder though, to realize how happy I am with the gospel in my life. and for everything included in it.  But heavenly Father is really blessing us a ton. THe work is going forward in Bergen, and ** is going to be baptized on saturday! HE's way excited for it.  He is seeing answers to his prayers now and he is just way excited for it to happen.  I am too.  Its going to be an amazing experience.  THe language is coming a lot better. I can understand a lot of people now, and I am actually starting to get something out of church! Maybe soon I'll be able to participate in it more. ha  SOunds like you guys had a fun week.  Halloween isn't a big holiday for norway yet. It is starting to come though. A lot of it though is taking the dark side of halloween so its interesting.  It was interesting riding the train with drunk people in costumes... WHoo.... But our ward had a halloween party that was actually really good.  We had an investigator come to that with her little boy and she just loved it.  It was a lot of fun. Lots of cookies and other food.  Its hard working with less actives and former members, because you know they knew it at one point, but its hard to see how much they have let other things get in the way.  THe church is so true! I hope I never forget that.Hope you guys keep doing great! I miss you all a ton and can't wait to hear from you all next week! Love you guys!
